Some trouble or trials in life can make you wonder why or what is happening now. Others are clearer, like touching something hot and feeling pain. Most trials are not from point A to point B. It is a mystery at times. And over time, if you know Jesus, you will learn to trust Him. That is helpful to the process, but He always listens as you come to Him through it.
Even so, there are times when a few reasons for what is happening are comforting. It makes the trial or trouble serve a purpose. That is what my list is about today.

12 Possible Reasons for Your Trouble:
- To develop perseverance.
- To learn how to pray and gain increased love for God’s Word.
- To become aware of God’s promises.
- To slow down and see your part in the trouble and know His grace.
- To learn to trust God fully.
- To lean on God alone.
- To understand more about God’s presence and nearness.
- To experience what a friend Jesus is.
- To perceive, see, and know God’s faithfulness.
- To experience how to wait on the Lord.
- To grasp the Holy Spirit’s helpful role in your trouble.
- To discover Jesus is enough.
