Do you ever wonder if God will answer your prayer? Maybe your faith is weak, and you have lost hope. Are you tired of hearing your own words over and over?

Personally, I have found that praying scripture is a refreshing approach to my prayer time. And it is a surefire way of building my faith. When my faith grows, my trust in Him grows. When trust increases, I expect His answer, and my joy is deep. That helps me while I wait.

I believe that God answers every prayer. I may not see the outcome on this side of eternity, but I know He does not ignore my prayers. He is intimately involved in my life. He has nothing to prove to me. He is God. But His nature is love. I know He will answer.

But I believe that even beyond our human pleas and requests, He loves hearing His Word lifted to Him. I don’t do this every day, but often, I do. Scripture is perfect and flawless (Psalm 119). How could you go wrong praying Scripture? If you need encouragement in your prayer life, try praying Scripture during your prayer time.

Tips on How to Pray Scripture:

• Pray your daily scripture from your Bible app or devotional. You can put in your name and personalize it. Or pray it for another.
• Google verses about your concern. Pray those verses.
• Pray an entire Bible story over a period of time. Notice how God responded in the story. Notice how the man or woman responded. Pray to be like the person or to not to behave like the person.
• All Scripture is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). However, some passages are specific about our behavior as His children. Pray passages like Galatians 5:13-26, or Philippians 2, Colossians 1:9-14, or various Psalms and Proverbs, and so many more!

Transformation will come by the power of the Holy Spirit, either in you, the other person, or your situation. It will be supernatural, and you will give glory to God.

Try praying scripture. I believe encouragement will fill you when you do. And seeing things from God’s perspective will fuel your prayer life.
