Dear Reader,

Did you know I have a menu of resources on my website? Simple Studies are meant to move you away from fear, anxiety, or any angst. I’ve learned over the years that one Winning Way to Follow Jesus is to distract your mind and focus it on eternal things rather than on your predictable, unproductive emotions. It works every time if you focus on the Bible activity. Peace comes.

The simple study below lists only a few of the promises found in the Bible. An online one is fine, but if you have your own copy of the Bible, use it. Your hands and fingers will signal to your brain that you are doing a worthy activity as you flip and turn the pages. I hope you find peace, contentment, and fulfillment as you go through the list.

In no particular order, the verse list is meant to give you a feeling of research. I also didn’t specify which promise of each because some have multiple topics that you can apply to your situations.

Get a notebook and begin to research these verses. Write them, pray them, choose one to memorize, draw, color, or make some verse cards. Have fun! Drink in the beauty of God’s love for you over a few days, or as part of your morning quiet time, or one evening alone—end by thanking HIm for His wonderful Word and for being your personal, Promise Keeper.
