Dear Faithful Reader

Dear Faithful Reader:

Are you excited about the 2024 Christmas season? Some look forward to it. It can call us back to good memories, beautiful music, and meaningful gatherings. Someone has said that the world seems to come together at Christmas. But I understand some find the season unmanageable and chaotic. Is loneliness more pronounced for you?

Whatever your situation, if you are a Christian, you have eternal and living Hope in our Lord no matter the season. As we abide in Him(John 15), He is our closest friend and we live in His presence. Whatever the season, all is well.

Winning Ways to Follow Jesus is a discipleship blog. It teaches an intentional way of life for the Christian. So, as we approach the season that celebrates the birth of our Savior, you will find articles to keep you focused on Him.

Additionally, I have added more to the menu at the top. Tap Abide to read selected articles about spending time with God, anxiety, and Christmas posts. You can use the search box to find so many topics about following Jesus.

Also in the menu are Simple Studies that you can work on anytime. And in the menu are my Christian graphics, book recommendations, and extra helps. Plus, for fun, I have added a poll page. Tap and choose a poll or take them all!

My blog is not complex. Christianity is the most joyous and eternal message and I hope you will find my articles practical and encouraging.

If you love my blog and want others to know, share this email with your family and friends. They can subscribe by putting in their email. Or you can get their permission and send their email to me and I will add them.

I hope you find all your Hope in Jesus this Christmas season. We can praise Him with our lips, but our worship is from our heart. Worship is our heart posture all day, every day. He is worthy. My favorite sacred Christmas carol is “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” and you can read my thoughts https://valerierumfelt.com/2019/12/16/angels-sing/

Merry Christmas!
